How we work to improve our Culburra community?

The Culburra Beach & Districts Chamber of Commerce was re-formed in 2008 to set up goals and priorities toward making Culburra Beach a wonderful place to live, work and visit.

What we’ve achieved

Local business people who are Chamber members have made significant contributions in the community to upgrade, beautify, add value and raise our profile as a great destination for business, recreation and living.

Here are some of the projects we have initiated or supported:

  • Landscaping the front of the retail shops fronting onto Prince Edward Avenue
  • Erecting a large sign on Bolong Road at Bomaderry to promote Culburra Beach
  • The Chamber was responsible for the first “Love Culburra Beach Festival” in 2011
  • The Chamber produces a map of Culburra Beach to help holiday makers in the area. It provides a space for local businesses to advertise.
  • The Chamber has worked with Shoalhaven City Council in numerous matters including development issues for the area.
  • The clean up of Lakeside Park and Council Carpark prior to the arrival of Woolworths.
  • Organised Christmas decorations for the utility poles in the area.

Recognising our Member Contributions

All Chamber members are volunteers who take responsibilities within our group to promote our business community. We encourage new members to get involved.
